Meet the Dolly. When I immigrated to the USA as a child in 1997, we arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee. Filled with movie references about what the USA was, I was taking in the realities around me and deconstructing what was real and what wasn't.

Dolly was one of those things that I never had to deconstruct. She was real in every way. She exemplified what it meant to be an American; she was welcoming, kind, joyful, and my goodness was she entrepreneurial!

Even back then in the 90's she had an empire of Dolly-isms! This blazer is all her and all that was and is in my mind and heart when I think of the USA. Hope, hard work, grit, and a great outfit! 

The lining is a custom piece by Tara Berg and we couldn't help but add alllll of the cutest little easter eggs in there! See if you can find them! 

She's adaptable so the torso and biceps can go up a size or two!

The quality of this jacket is great. Unfortunately the exapandable panels make the jacket feel thick and bulky when wearing it. I have only tried it on, but with the price I cannot justify keeping somehting i don’t absolutely love and with the bulky feel i just cannot forsee myself wearing it. Slightly dissapointed

Genius design and SO cute!

I just received my order today and I cannot believe how gorgeous The Dolly blazer is!! The material and fit is perfection and the adaptable design is exactly how all women’s clothing should be. I tried it on after eating lasagna and garlic bread and it still fit like a dream! I will be ordering more from PWR WMN. 😍
